Saturday was Nate Frazier’s race of the year at the quarter midget track in Lansing. It was also his first time competing in a very fast World Formula class. In his Heavy Honda car a good lap is in the 6.25 second range. In World Formula a good lap is in the 5.4 second range, so it is a big step up.Nate was doing well in practice with the World Formula, but may have tried to go to hard to fast and crashed hard with the car.His Heavy Honda car did not perform as we would have liked either. The rain that came before the feature was almost a welcome thing for us, bringing an end to a tough day.
On June 19th we will take our Modified to Indianapolis Raceway Park where we will run with the Advance Racing Association. Then the next day we will hurry back home and try to get to Lansing with Nate’s cars in time for the Quarter Midget events.
