Quarter Midgets invaded the Grand Rapids DeltaPlex again on February 5th and 6th. Once again the CQMA club put on a great show for the fans.
We made several changes to our car after out first appearance at the facility in January in hopes for better results. Nate Frazier ran well both evenings and captured a third place finish in Friday’s race. Even though Nate ran good lines and was very smooth, the car still fell off in the races mid stages, confirming fears we had about the strength of our engine. The engine has been sent off to be rebuilt and should be back in time for our next race at the DeltaPlex on March 20th.
Season preparations continue on both of our modified cars and things are going well. Our Ellis car is almost complete and our Howe car is in the process of getting a new body.
